What's new?

Good morning! I’ve had a chance to spend some time on my own to catch up on work and just have some me time! Summer is no joke with kids out of school and it’s been busy in the Jovovich-Anderson household with 3 kids and 3 dogs! Apart from catching up on some great tv shows, I’ve been adapting a book into a screenplay (it’s not sci fi either hehe), which has been a very interesting experience. I’ve always loved writing and this has actually made me love and understand this book so much more because suddenly the characters have taken a life of their own in my imagination. Different from just reading it because I’m actually able to allow them to speak their thoughts out loud, if that makes sense. I’ve also been doing some more artwork on my walls. Some of you commented on the art behind me in my last post and I decided to mess around with it some more because I wasn’t happy with it when I drew it and kind of left it for a while. (Swipe to the end to see what it’s turned into.) I think it’s pretty cool so far, but my wall art is always developing and changing which is a lot of fun. Every morning I exercise my dogs, but especially my huge, dragon dog Welly. I call him my personal dragon because he’s enormous, super protective and when he jumps to catch the ball, he looks like he should sprout wings. I also got some rad pictures of some beautiful flowers that just came up in our backyard. I’m not sure what species they are, but they’re drought resistant because they’ve managed to survive here as innocuous bushes even without water for ages before the rain came and then suddenly flowered into these brightly colored beauties. I got a picture of a bee on one of them (towards the end of the series) and on another I zoomed in and realized that a fly landed on the same flower as the bee! Kind of strange but I think it’s a great moment. Anyway, enjoy my photo dump of the last 12 hours! Have a great day everyone!💥
